Endings Bring Beginnings

by Brian Sullivan

"When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us." - Alexander Graham Bell

What door has recently closed in your life?

Was it a big account, a new personal opportunity, an old relationship? It hurt, didn't it? Well,
congratulations!

The fact that you feel pain says that you have been given the gift of passion and emotion, the fuel to living.

But that passion can be dangerous if you don't use it wisely. While you may have only limited control over which of life's doors close, you do have total control over how many new ones you open. So go ahead and pout, scream, cry and yell because your fingers just got slammed. Then pick a firm date on your calendar to turn your eyes and passion toward new opportunities.

The quicker you do, the more quickly that larger account, that new opportunity, or that new BFF (translated by my kid's as Best Friends Forever!) will be welcoming you in.

Have a great week!
