Who likes pain? Not me! Not unless something really good comes from it. Like going for a run, working in the yard or making that extra sales call, for instance. Would you really chose to sweat profusely, dirty your fingernails, or face one more rejection unless you knew that you could reduce your back fat, smell the roses or beat the competition? Probably not! You see...pain is the fuel to progress. And the more pain you can tolerate, the more apt you are to be a top performer in ANYTHING. So I have a question for you as we head into the summer swing, are you getting your fair share of pain? If not, find something in your career or life that you know will hurt for the right reasons. Then get to work. And know that the pain is temporary, but the person that the pain creates will last a lifetime.
