Put the "Do" Behind the "Dream"
If you can DREAM it, you can do it. ~ Walt Disney Is it really that easy—just dream up great stuff and it happens?
Well, notice how our friend Walt says, "You CAN do it." It doesn't mean you WILL do it. You see, Walt Disney dreamed up Disney World, but it wouldn't have been created unless his DREAMS had a little DO behind them. Nonetheless, it starts with the dream. He had to DREAM about a black mouse, Main Street USA and Cinderella's Castle before he figured out what it would take to create such a spectacular place. And make no mistake—people thought Disney was nothing but a "dreamer." But he proved that he was more than that. He was a "dreamer" and a "doer." So what are you—a dreamer, a doer or both? Let's find out! Take 30 minutes early next week to dream what you want the second half of '07 to look like. Make it a dream that is exciting, almost unattainable and perhaps even a bit crazy. And perhaps you will realize the only thing missing from the winning formula of DREAM and DO isYOU! Brian Sullivan is the author of Precise Selling. You can reach him through www.preciseselling.com. |
