Local Inventor Receives National Recognition Clyde Morgan, Olathe, was one of 33 semi-finalists in the United Inventors Association/Inventors’ Digest National New Products Hunt. S&M NuTec Wins State Award Missouri Governor Bill Holden presented S&M NuTec founders Joe and Judy Roetheli with the Missouri Agricultural Exporter of the Year award on Nov. 23. The ceremony took place at the 38th Annual Missouri Governor’s Conference on Agriculture at the Tan-Tar-A Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Since 1996 S&M NuTec, the developer of Greenies dog treats, has grown from the two founders to 37 employees. Sales since 2000 have grown 3,800 percent, and the company projects sales of more than 100 million Greenies for 2003.
The company’s international sales represent 9 percent of their overall revenues, including exports to 25 countries and 40 major international markets.
